First edition, first printing (with number "1" in sequence) hardcover. A fine copy, in fine, unclipped dust, profusely illustrated, of one of the very best books on Nevelson's works. This has been SIGNED BY EDWARD ALBEE (who wrote the lengthy Introduction and was a good friend of LN) on the title page, and dated by him in 2005.

191 pages. Hardcover. Texts in English. Tan foxing stains to the first and last few pages, but no other markings to the interior. Mild shelfwear to the edges of the boards and dustjacket with some light soiling. Else, the binding is tight and solid. Many illustrations. Photographs by Pedro E. Guerrero.

Top and bottom board edges lightly dusty, very light white marks about 2" along rear fold of spine edge (cloth rubbed through d/j even though d/j has no marks in that area?). Slight wear on d/j in a couple of places on edges. Black cloth with silver/gold lettering on spine. D/j has folded over doubled edges at top and bottom. 191 pages.

A very nice copy whose only flaw is that the jacket is price-clipped.
