First edition, hardcover, signed by Vachss on the title page, the book has mild bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, rubbing to the covers, and light foxing to the head of the text block. Overall, a solid, Very Good copy in a like, unclipped dust jacket, which has light bumps to the spine ends, mild wear to the cover edges and corners, and rubbing with a few minor smudges to the covers.
This is an immaculate copy of Vachss's Burke novel FOOTSTEPS of the HAWK, unread and virtually unopened except for Vachss to inscribe it to important genre booksellers. If there's a flaw, it's that Andrew was a little too aggressive with the final stroke of his signature, which ran over onto several additional pages. A gorgeous copy.
