The book presented here is a UK first edition, first printing copy signed at the moonlight signing event at the Natural History Museum in London on the 20th July 2007, for which 1700 lucky ticket winners were admitted. This copy comes with the event ticket as well as a personalised handwritten note from the original owner of the book Sarah, thoroughly detailing her experience at the event. The dust jacket is in pristine condition with no fading at all. The book is unread, with sharp corners and a tight and square binding. There is some minor bruising to the base of the spine, otherwise a fine copy. The head of the spine is perfect and internally the pages are crisp, bright white and completely clean with no ownership inscriptions, dog eared pages or unwanted marks of any kind. A beautiful example of a book and dust jacket in stunning condition. It comes housed in a black clamshell box made purposely for this book, with the title and author's name printed in gold leaf to the spine.
