The book presented here is a UK first edition, first printing copy signed at the moonlight signing event at the Natural History Museum in London on the 20th July 2007, for which 1700 lucky ticket winners were admitted. This copy comes with all the ephemera from the event including: a large full length poster, an orange paper bag, the ticket itself and the slip showing the number 91 meaning that 'Sam' who the book is inscribed to was 91st in the signing queue. It also comes with an advertisement leaflet, a museum program, quiz sheet, stickers and balloons all from that night at the event. The book and dust jacket are in pristine condition with no fading at all. The book is unread, with sharp corners and a tight and square binding. This extremely rare presentation inscription is found in a first edition, first impression of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The dated inscription reads 'To Dotti, 21st July 2007, thank you! Jo, J.K. Rowling x.' This copy was presented to the original recipient Dotti, who was J.K. Rowling's publicist at the time on the date of publication. The majority of signed copies of Deathly Hallows were from the midnight release event at the Natural History Museum, London and these were mostly inscribed to the recipients of the book.
