First edition, with dust wrapper. Board edges are a little rubbed. Some discolouration, front and back. Head and tail of spine slightly bumped. Page edges are well foxed, more so at the head edge. Binding neat and tidy, this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper lightly thumbed at the edges. Spine very lightly sunned, otherwise in good condition *We try to describe the faults of our books meticulously - they often present better than they sound.

Second impression before publication. Purple boards with gilt spine lettering. Dust jacket flap clipped at bottom corner, with the Canadian price to the top corner present, small spot of glue residue to foot of spine possibly from an older price or signed sticker, with a couple of small nicks to the corner of the dust jacket. A good clean copy overall, signed by Spike Milligan on the front endpaper.
