Hardcover. A good copy. End papers are lose and have some damage. The edges of the paper is damp damage. The 16 colorful prints are tipped in and still bright and clean. The cover is gold with black decoration, horsed and title. There is a dedication on the front end paper dated 1959.
Wear to cover; heavy fraying to spine ends and corners; spine rebacked; front hinge cracked; browning to front endpaper from tape residue; some wear and soiling to pages from use; beautiful color illustrations throughout.
No Date. Circa 1920's? Marine blue (or faded green) decorated cloth, gilt titles and black unicorn motif at upper cover and gilt titles at backstrip. pp 174 (prelims unpaginated), 15 colour tipped-in plates, only the frontispiece is tissue-guarded. Very sunned at the backstrip, spine tips worn and a bit ragged, corners likewise but a reasonably tight and square-looking copy. No foxing or spotting to speak of and no onwer names etc. Plates all present.
