Illustré par Antonio Saura de 27 oeuvres sur papier, réalisées spécialement pour cet ouvrage avec des techniques diverses: peinture synthétique, acrylique, encre de Chine, mine de plomb. Edition originale au tirage limité à 2488 exemplaires numérotés, celui-ci un des 2457 après ceux de tête et de collaborateurs. Exemplaire enrichi d'un envoi autographe signé de Jacques Chessex à Michel Foëx et de la signature de Antonio Saura.
