With introductions and notes, tissue-guarded sepia frontis bust of Aeschylus, another tissue-guarded bust of Euripides and an image of an outdoor amphitheater in ancient Greece. One from a rather scarce version of the series, "The Harvard Classics" as published by P. F. Collier, edited by Charles W. Eliot. --- In dark red buckram cloth-covered boards with titling and Harvard crest, and Charles Eliot's facsimile signature in gilt on the cover; gilt-stamped spine titling. TEG (top edge gilt), other edges deckled and with dark red ribbed endpapers.
