First edition hard back binding in publisher's original scarlet cloth covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine and the upper panel. 8vo. 6½'' x 4¼''. Contains [xl] 342 printed pages of text with 3 monochrome plans, 8 plans in colour and 4 maps, including a large fold-out map to the rear. Very Good condition book, in Very Good condition dust wrapper with a little rubbing of the paper to the edges, red spine not faded.
