Mulberry Harbours were portable, temporary harbours built in Britain and floated to France for the Normandy Invasion. This is the illustrated script of a radio play produced "with the co-operation of the Admiralty, the War Office, the Ministry of Supply, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of War Transport, and the Ministry of Information Films Division" and "First broadcast on March 5, 1945, 9.30 p.m. - 11 p.m.", giving a fictionalized account of the development, construction and deployment of the 'harbours'. Interior - browning to first and last pages, light toning to most text pages, two soft corner creases on most pages, sharp crease on one page leaf with an offset on adjacent page, tiny edge tear on page 11 - archivally taped. Exterior - wear and browning on spine, varying size sharp and soft corner creases on covers, minor edge wear, very light rubbing.. First Edition. Stapled in Wraps. Good.
