THE GAME BIRDS OF INDIA, BURMA AND GALLINAE by Stuart Baker was first published in India in a series of intermittent issues published by the Bombay Natural History Society beginning in 1915. The format then was 8vo or about 8 inches high. The 2nd edition, published in London is much larger in format, with a grand appearance worthy of the spectacular illustrations of birds, in particular those of J.G. Keulemans. HEAVY BOOKS.
