Black boards with bright gilt titling on the front and faded titling on the spine. Scarce version - second edition, stated as August, 1933. Book is tight, square and free of markings or flaws inside or out other than the previously mentioned faded spine. Deckled page edges and top edge dyed red. Chamberlain was NY Times journalist who started out progressive but ended up being quite conservative, pals with Ayn Rand, etc. This second edition, being moved to the John Day publishing house, is scarce and a sign of his political evolution.
