Volumes 1 to 10 bound in 20 parts. Size: 21.5 x 17.5 Cms. 240 tissue-guarded, hand coloured plates. Contemporary 1/2 calf, extremities rubbed, some loss of spine on parts 11 to 20. The calf on parts 17 to 20 is slightly darker. Heraldic bookplate of George Henry Arnold and pastedown of part 1 with owner's inscription on front free end paper of that part. Some foxing but mostly restricted to end papers and tissue guards, plates generally clean. The complete work comprised 13 volumes and 312 colour plates.
