1942. Reprinted. 340 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth. Illustrated by George Rankin. Introduction by J Arthur Thomson. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. A few pages intensely foxed. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Slight split to upper rear joint. Slight water staining to front and rear. Spine is slightly sunned and foxed. Boards moderately foxed overall.

Cover stained and slightly grubby, spine sunned, wear to extremities, corners bumped. Moderate foxing throughout but generally not affecting plates. Spine cracked. Binding remains intact but for plates 44, 46 and 58, which are detached and edge-worn. Contents o/w clean and unmarked. Heavy book (2.3 kg) - UK and Overseas orders will require additional postage.
