Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. 1st Edition 1885. Good condition. The binding is still tight. Slight lean. Front cover has a few stains. The spine has frayed edges and is sun faded. Gold guild is still present. Some color has rubbed out on the rear cover and a little into the spine. Bumping and wear to corners. The contents of the book are in good condition with moderate to heavy foxing throughout. Evidence of bookplates removed from front and rear end papers and pastedown as well as penciled inscription dated Aug 1887. Rare copy, early printing.
