A shallow indentation line along the front board which is carries from the dust-jacket. Barely noticeable in the picture. May be a printing defect. Page edges toning as usual. Equally attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (£7.95 net), has that same indentation but no other wear. fresh and bright with no chipping or tears. Inscribed and Signed by the author on the title page, "To the College of Notre Dame, Bobbie Ann Mason". A sharp, collectable copy of the author's first book of fiction.
