INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY AUTHOR on 1/2 title page. Made into the critically acclaimed movie of the same name about soldiers in Vietnam. 273pp.

Back of d-j has shelf wear. Tiny scratch on fore-edge. Spine slightly cocked.

This first edition copy remains clean with boards quarter bound in dark blue cloth and black paper with pointed corners, including Tim's signature in gold gilt on front cover. Spine is uncreased with straight edges and the gold titling. Text block remains straight with foxing on top and fore edge. 273p. Matching bright red end pages are clean. Interior remains completely unmarked with toned pages. Black glossy Dust Jacket is intact and unclipped with pointed corners and bold titling. Titling on spine is discolored but remains bold and legible.

May be unread. Mild scrunch at head of spine, left a 1/8 inch closed tear in jacket. Owner name to front pastedown. Sharp tight copy.
