Illustrated boards. With all first printing points as per Younger and Hirsch. Minor bumps to the corners and somewhat harder bumps to the spine ends. Slight edge wear. The interior is completely unmarked and tight but for a short name to the rear free endpaper. The dust jacket has a number of short tears, some of which are repaired with clear tape to the verso. There is also a 2" tear to the upper, front, similarly repaired. There is some staining along the upper and part of the lower edges, largely only visible to the verso. There is some staining seen along the upper, rear flap. $2.50 to the front flap. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall

"The time has come..." A volume in the Bright and Early Books for Beginning Beginners series. Octavo. Original glazed paper over boards. Some wear to the corners and tips. The dust jacket is a bit shelfworn, with a closed tear to the top of the rear panel; else about very good. Younger 51.

1st 1972. Very good condition in an almost very good dustwrapper. Bright & Early Series. White pictorial boards. Colour illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped with a couple of small splits to base of spine. Inscription in blue biro to front pastedown. Very pale page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper ($2.50 printed price on front flap) is edge creased and torn with some slight loss and a few light marks. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Number 13 in the Bright and Early Books series. Illustrated by the author. First edition. Light foxing to board edges, else very good in a very good (three inch crease from the base of the front panel, foxing about the edges) dust jacket. The dust jacket has the original $2.50 price in the upper corner of the front flap and lists to this title on the rear panel.
