The first edition of this verse play for radio, published in 1975 by the University of Pittsburgh Press. This copy has been inscribed by MacLeish fro his residence in Antigua in January of 1976. Laid into this copy is a file of five autographed notes/letters of varying length from Archibald MacLeish to Judge Roy Wilkerson. There are an additional three ANS from Ada MacLeish. The correspondence displays a deep and longstanding friendship between the elder statesman Macleish and hs wife and the Wilkerson's. A very good copy of the book with a faded spot to the top edge of the front board - corresponding to the chip in the top edge of the very good dust jacket. Seller Inventory # 006690
