"Lettering Preparations" contains information about selecting tools and materials. "Alphabet Styles" gives clear, easy to follow exemplars for a variety of hands, and includes new material on Brush and Neuland hands. The "Projects and Applications" section offers interesting and enjoyable ways to use lettering. Lastly, "Contemporary Calligraphy" enhances the book with samples of current work.
