About the Book

Description:

8vo., First Edition, neat contemporary inscription on front free endpaper, one tiny mark on front past-down; original pictorial black cloth, upper board blocked with 'ski tracks' in white, backstrip lettered in silver, white endpapers, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter very lightly age-soiled on (predominantly white) rear cover, tiny nick at bottom lower corner of backstrip but with bright red lettering and no trace of the usual fading at backstrip. A bright, clean copy of the eleventh James Bond novel. Dustwrapper artwork by Richard Chopping, complete with original price of 16s on front wrapper flap.
