About This Item
London: Jonathan Cape, 1978. First British Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Fine in Archival Plastic Cover. A handsome First British Edition of Tim O'Brien's award-winning book, signed by the author on the title page. In dark blue-green cloth the book is in fine condition with a bright and clean interior but for bumping at the spine ends and pp. 171-172 repaired at the inside edge. The dustjacket is bright and clean with a sticker "750 net/In UK Only" on the front flap which is price-clipped, presumably by the publisher. Protected by an archival plastic cover. Winner of the National Book Award. By the author of "Northern Lights" and "The Things They Carried." Overall a nice copy.
