The 12 volume edition of the Memoirs with mildy erotic pouchoir style frontispieces by Alexander Popini. Generally very good in quarter bound red boards with parchment spines, a little embrowned and rubbed, and gilt titles. This is a reprint of the unabridged London edition of 1894 translated by Arthur Machen and with additional chapters, a supplement and a bibliography. Printed in an edition of 550 sets on specially manufactured wove double-edged India-tint paper. T.E.G. and previous owner's bookplate on endpapers.
