A scarce early printing of the classic just released as a film. An ex-library copy in light blue cloth with dark blue type. Corners and spine ends dinged/bumped and rubbing through paper at same and board ends. Tape shadows to board ends and 1 inch split to front spine gutter. Paper scarring to pastedowns where jacket protector was previously attached. Pen scribbles to ffep, stamps to title page and pocket with letter 'D' in ink to rfep. Several pen, pencils marks and scribbles as well as some smudges through text block. Stamp to top page ends, stain to front page ends and some letters in pencil to bottom page ends. Jacket is unclipped with large chip at heel, smaller chips at head and bottom front corner. Tanning to spine with sticker shadow at bottom. One 1/2 inch tear to bottom of rear panel and general edgewear. 7th Printing
