Book has previous owner's name and address written in pencil on endpaper, the illustrations on pages 79, 80, 107, 117, 159 are lightly colored in with crayon, a slightly shaken spine, heavy rubbing to the edges of covers and spine, and gentle bumping to the corners of covers. Otherwise, the book is in good condition with sturdy pages and charming illustrations throughout.

Code F-4-51 on the copyright page, 235pp. with b/w and 4 colour illustrations (front flap calls for 5 hence the book is graded poor). Corner creasing, spotting on the top edge, a 4 cm tear at the top of page 157-58, light creasing/soiling from page handling, light tanning to paper and light soil to outer edges. Boards have edge/rub wear, light bump wear and light soiling. DJ has edge/rub wear, tears, chipping, soiling and creasing.
