Gorgeous set of six splendiferous stamps from the wonderful Quentin Blake, illustrating Mr Dahl's marvellous books. Contained in an attractive glazed illustrated informative presentation sleeve together with a sheet of five different BFG stamps. Delightful! Quite irresistible!!!

True first British printing with original clipped jacket. Illustrations by Quentin Blake. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few small (approx. 1cm) tears, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, a few small marks, pushing/bumping to corners, small loss to top surface to head of spine, the odd crease/rub to edges, a few small scratches, minor fading to spine and is in only good condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small bump/rub to edges and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages have the odd small mark/minor foxing. Pages bit tanned. Large gift inscription and date in pen to front end-paper. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Turquoise cloth boards, barely bumped, 2018 pages, inside front cover and fep have been lightly coloured by a previous owner with an inscription to the latter partly blacked out, otherwise a clean copy in a tight and square binding. Jacket has light shelf wear to the edges with a little creasing to the head of the spine. A very presentable first edition of a modern classic. Free registered postage worldwide.
