The film adaptation, starring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, and Renée Zellweger was nominated for seven Academy Awards, one of which Zellweger took home for Best Supporting Actress. 9'' x 5.75''. True first printing (man-woman is present). This hardcover book is square and tight. The boards have no wear with pristine gilt. The pages and endpages are clean, with no markings or folds. The dustjacket is As New. Original Price is intact. Not ex-library. No remainder mark. There is mild dye transfer to top edge, not intruding to the inner page, from prior dampness on spine. There are faded areas to the black cloth spine partially touching gilt, but no dye transfer to dustjacket, which remains pristine.

With "man-woman" error on page 25. a lovely copy of this scarce and important book. Later printings corrected to read "mad woman"
