Full colour, tipped-in frontis and 15 other colour, tipped-in illustrations. Small tear at top of second front endpaper. Some math calculations in pen on rear endpaper. Binding is a bit loose but is not in danger. Size: Sm 4to (9" to 11"). 174 pp.

Lightly rubbed, board corners warped, owner inscription dated 1918 to verso of ffep, shaken, gutters cracked, rear gutter badly cracked and last page and frep detached but extant and chipped to edges, some foxing throughout, the odd fingerprint or smudge, and a couple of tears to page edges, but text clean, illustrations good.

ND. Jacket rubbed with some moderate to heavy chipping, loss and marking. Some minor scuffing to closed edges, top edge dusty and lightly foxed. Some gutters cracked. Pages clean and tidy, plates bright.
