The seventh edition of this work, illustrated with a frontispiece, a folding route map, and numerous vignette illustrations. In a full calf prize binding, with the bookplate of Christ's Hospital, London, to the front pastedown, awarding this volume to J.H. Palmer in 1879. In a full calf prize binding, with gilt detailing. Fading to back strip, with rubbing to back strip head and tail. Front hinge strained but firmly held. Prize bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, but with areas of significant spotting to first and last few leaves. Very Good.
