Book is VG minus with minor shelfwear; o/w clean and tight; DJ is good with minor edgewear and one very small chip at top of flap crease at front; rare signed copy, There is a gold sticker on the DJ announcing Dejong's award for contributions to children's literature in 1962; illustrated by Maurice Sendak years before he hit it big with Where the Wild Things Are.
