"Cuba" is Hudson's clandestine war efforts, the death of his son as a pilot and his chance encounter with his first wife, the love of his life. "At Sea" is an older Hudson commanding a pursuit of German U-boat survivors, the survivors die and Hudson is wounded. Hemingway's last novel, posthumously published by Mary Hemingway.
