Pencil 'H' on bottom and side edge. Some foxing to prelims and a little offset, hinges firm. 4 page Groombridge catalogue at rear. First published 1873, later editions did not have as many colour plates. A Graingerised copy with additioanl Victorian prints tipped in by a previous owner. They are a wonderful tulip,possibly from the 1820s, a steel engraving of a greenhouse (foldout) and colour prints of Crab Apple and Common Mallow. A super book.
