Jacket has creasing and wear especially at the edges. Irregular chip at the bottom of the spine of the jacket up to 1/2". The inscription on the first blank page reads thus "7 May 1957 For Charlie and Kay Johnson - to have a chance to see them makes coming back to Denver worth the long drive and the other crap that is always a part of it. With very warm regards. Bill Weeks" Also on this page is Charles A. Johnson's rubber stamp. Hinges are fine. Paper is not tanned. A nice photo of the author on the rear panel of the jacket.
