Book has shelfwear, severe edgewear, bumped corners, sunning to spine, discoloration to inside covers and endpapers, and toning to pages. No dustjacket. 12mo.

The recipient was a noted writer and editor, a prominent citizen of Portland, Maine and an early supporter of Whittier. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
