James Lomax is the Curator of the Chippendale Society and co-curator of the tercentenary exhibition. He was formerly curator at Temple Newsam House, Leeds, and is an acknowledged expert on 18th century applied arts, particularly silver, and has a special interest in the work of Thomas Chippendale.
