Two-volume set in stiff cardboard box, 1st and only printing. The books are like new, but the box has some dents: see images. This is indexer Steven Moore's copy (=seller). He worked for over two months on it, not only supplying a 70-page index (printed in both volumes), but also proofreading it and contributing to the annotations. (Editor Burns acknowledges his help on p. xxxiv.) His signature appears on the first page of vol. 1, otherwise the text is immaculate. No jacket, as issued. For sale only in the U.S. due to its heavy weight.
